TO SEE THE STARS OF FLORENCE

“To see the Stars of Florence”

The European Club participated in and won the tender of the Municipality of Florence

for the granting of contributions to project proposals aimed at promoting and enhancing the city and its territory and intended for tourists and citizens.

The project, promoted by the Municipality of Florence,

represents an innovative form of promotion of the city of Florence.

Falling within the scope of our Club to introduce our Members to the Culture and Beauty of the country that hosts us, we participated in the initiative with the creation of

six video tours, each of which starts from one of the six medieval city gates.

Usually the classic tours leave the city gates and walls in the background or only in passing, but our project also wants to be a way to rekindle the attention on the city gates.

The title of the project wants to pay homage to Dante, symbol and icon of Italian culture in the world.

Just like in a normal guided tour, the routes, the historic districts of Florence, the art and economic activity of the historic shops, are illustrated by a tour guide.

Traveling along unpublished itineraries and also passing through lesser-known streets, we discover or rediscover monuments, private buildings of particular architectural and artistic importance, often used as museums, of particular historical value. We also entered the ancient Florentine artisan workshops that with great enthusiasm illustrated their ancient arts to us.

To disseminate and make the project and the videos more visible we have also produced six short videos, easier to publish and share on all our pages of the most popular social platforms.

The Project anticipates the organization of a trip by the European Club Ispra to the beautiful FLORENCE.

The shots, by GP-Videomaking are in high quality and made use of the most modern technologies, with computer graphics images to reproduce the flight of the drone.
