of the Basilica of Sant'Eustorgio,
the Diocesan Museum houses a rich collection of artworks
from the4th to the 21st century.
From the splendid Early Christian collections
from Sant'Ambrogio and San Nazaro,
to extraordinary gold-background works from the Gothic period,
from masterpieces by masters such as Michelino da Besozzo and Bergognone,
to devotional art from the Borromean period,
to modern works by Hayez and the contemporary section
dedicated to Lucio Fontana.
