3rd Evening - Puglia
From the postwar period up to the 80s / 90s, Puglia was characterized by table grape production. The focus was on the direct sale of grapes which were used for blending other wines produced throughout Europe.
Thanks to the new laws that protect the territory and to the change in consumption that aims more at quality and not quantity, many indigenous vines are being rediscovered that when vinified alone, give wines deeply linked to the territory.
